Project Overview

Design Approach
In ancient times, the oasis was more than a stop for water — it was a sacred pause where travelers restored the body and reconnected with the spirit. This public spa reimagines that experience through a modern Arabian lens, inspired by the oases of the UAE.
Al Raha, meaning peace or serenity, offers a peaceful escape from urban life — a space to breathe, reflect, and heal in a culturally grounded, deeply sensory environment. Its interiors draw from the language of sand, water, and light, using locally sourced stone, terracotta, and palm wood to root the design in the UAE’s climate and heritage. Soft earthy tones, arches, and Arabian tiles shape a serene, contemporary atmosphere. Rooted in Emirati culture, the spa merges ancient rituals with modern innovation, embracing a holistic wellness philosophy focused on nature, sensory immersion, and mindful disconnection.
