Project Overview

Design Approach
The Saku Home Spa — “to bloom” — is a private sanctuary where Japanese Shinrin-Yoku meets sculpted spatial poetry. Inspired by the organic growth of a leaf, its curved pathways unfold in a natural rhythm, guiding the user from stillness toward renewal. At its center, an open-air forest-bathing deck of Hinoki, bamboo, and stone surrounds the senses with rustling leaves, flowing water, and the grounding scent of cedar.
The stone-crafted Onsen pool—infused seasonally with yuzu or sakura—glows under soft moonlit LEDs, complemented by a gentle waterfall, reflexology steps, and meditation zones shaped around green tea rituals and a skylit Hinoki tree. Three immersive therapy suites offer herbal head-spa cascades, Shiatsu on tatami, and Zen stone treatments, each elevated by AI-calibrated scent, light, and temperature. Beyond the interiors, a bamboo-shaded piano stage and the Harmony Path blend sound, movement, and nature into a living symphony. Saku is not just a spa—it is a journey where stress dissolves, balance returns, and the spirit quietly blooms.
